(Guest here, not host) Some listings have price breakdown, some don't

As I browse listings, some have a price breakdown with nights, fees, and total. Some only say $/night, and Reserve. No breakdown or total. I can't imagine any reason why would I not want to see a price breakdown? It's a little unnerving.

The only difference in these listings I can identify is maybe they are labeled as "Airbnb PLUS"? Can anyone explain what is going on here? Thanks for any guidance.

Not sure if these links will publish but if so here are two screenshots that show what I am talking about:

@Christopher64  - both the screenshots you've posted are the same?

I'm not sure I completely understand what you are experiencing, so not sure if I am able to really help

However I know that you are taken through a series of pages where you will see more info, before you actually have to commit to paying.  I also know that house rules can sometimes contain extra charges which the host can impose after the booking is finalised - eg Pet Fee, eco cleaning fee ( this is not all that common but possible, so be sure you read the listing AND the  house rules carefully before you book or request to book anywhere

I THINK what you may partly be seeing is the difference between hosts who have instant book - where your booking is immediately confirmed once you've paid, and host who have REQUEST to book - where you need to interact with the host first who then decides whether or not you are a good match for each other.

Generally speaking though ( apart from the house rules element mentioned above) once you have selected a listing, entered the appropriate number of guests, the actual dates you are planning to stay - the price shown should be the actual total, and a breakdown is shown at some point - if not on the first page then on the second before you pay.

I'm not very experienced as a guest so I could have some details wrong.

Replying to this message though will bring this thread higher up so more hosts may see and respond and add further clarification.

Regards

I don't understand but the linked screenshots are screwed up. Here they are again:

@Christopher64  You appear to be looking at a Plus listing and a non Plus listing. Both types display very differently. You can click 'contact host' on a Plus listing and get in to put in dates and see more price details, although the ones I've seen are still rather skimpy on details. I'm not a Plus host, but maybe one will chime in here.....
