Home Owners Insurance.

My home owners insurance will cancel my account if I join Airbnb, but when asked for similar coverage cost from Proper Insurance, it was 4 times the cost of my current insurance. With AirBnb's host and guest liability coverage, how can this be? I need recommendations for companies other than Proper, which seems like a scam.

@Sally502 State Farm allows for a small rider. Mine is about $80 extra per year.

Traveler also allows a home sharing rider for airbnb your principal or vacation home

@Sally502 Auto Owners also offers less expensive coverage than Travelers for short term rentals.
