India Specific queries for a Newcomer :)

Hi, I'm new here and in process to build my listing. However, was looking to understand a few things, which I'm enlisting below. Please share your inputs if you have been a host in India for a while.

1. Licences and registers that need to be maintained?

2. Which is the easiest, fastest and cheapest (commission wise) way to receive payments to India and send refunds outside India?

Bank transfers? Paypal? Any other

3. How much is the AirBnB commission/fee 3% or 15%?

4. If I have multiple rooms on the same floor, do I make seperate listing for each?

5. GST 12% deducted by Air BnB on each booking would be refunded back to me if my total sale is below 10lakh and submitted to government if its above 10 lakh automatically? Or do I have to be a part of the process?

Please share your thoughts in case you are aware of the above issues.

1. Check with your local government regarding STR regulations 

2. check on your local host group (normally on FB)

3. you can choose to pay the whole fee ie guest and host or just the host fee 

4. you create multiple linked listings
