"Your Short-Term Rental Registration Application with the New York City Mayor’s Office of Special Enforcement (OSE) has been reviewed. Based on the existing submission, OSE will deny the application for the following reason: After an initial review of your application, OSE has found that there is an uncorrected violation that endangers the occupants of the unit, and is providing this notice as soon as possible to allow you time to obtain the needed corrections while your application remains under review. Please note that once OSE completes its review of the application, there may be further deficiencies that will need to be addressed. As of today, OSE found there is an uncorrected violation of the New York City Fire Code that OSE has determined endangers the occupants of the unit, specifically, FDNY violation 011444607K, and information on how to correct this violation may be found at https://www.nyc.gov/site/fdny/business/violations/violations.page"
1. I have emailed and called the FDNY for the last 3 months and no one calls me back. The phone number goes into voice mail.
2. No one responds to my emails at the Mayors Office (OSE)
The violation appears to be in the doctors office in my building and I cannot do anything about another businesses violation. Has anyone had a similar issue or luck getting through to the FDNY or does anyone have a contact there?
Thanks,
Carl
