NYC new regulations for Hosts - Any Airbnb response?

Has anyone seen a response from Airbnb to the new rules in NYC requiring short-term hosts to register with NYC?  I have been looking to see if they plan to file a court response or not.  If I must register my apartment, I will not get a licenses as it is rent regulated. Using Airbnb to rent out the bedroom has kept mein my home ever since I got too sick to work.  I am in shock & have no idea what I will do.
