New Winter release just came out today!

Is the photo tour option only available to use with the mobile application? I do not use the mobile app

No it's possible to use from your computer too!

I was just in my listing and could not find how to access it. Will  have to spend time and find it 

It's at the bottom of the Airbnb link @Melanie318 where you can opt in for the early release

Well I'm still exploring but I love the "Guests favourite" feature because it highlights those hosts who have great reviews but can't reach Superhost status because they don't host all year round or who suffered a setback for whatever reason and can't meet the criteria.  A great incentive!

 

I'm also thrilled with the fact that the reviews are finally in chronological order regardless of the language in which they were written.  The duration of the stay has been dropped it would seem and there's just the date of the stay.

 

The new photo layout is great too and although AI have attributed the photos to the rooms, we can edit them easily.  My feedback on this is that we have lost the ability to move the photos around which is a real shame but hopefully the tech team can bring that back.

 

The bedroom order is still reversed though so that hasn't been fixed even with the new release.

 

Well that's all for now but yes I ❤️ the new features!

On my Airbnb page in French language, it's not like that!
Indeed (see screenshot),  all the host that had the superhost logo before did not have it anymore!.
Airbnb has replaced the Super Host logo with the "GUEST FAVORITES" logo!.

On more than 150 ads in Sevilla Spain, I managed to find only one ad that still has the super host logo !!!! And this ad has a note of 4.70 !!

For the guest:
In the section search "filters",  the box with the Mention Super Host disappeared!. Customers can no longer check the box if they want to rent an apartment from a super host

The only possibility of finding a super host accommodation is to click on "Guests Favourite"!!!

I saw the change that has been done to the way reviews are sorted (recency by default, regardless of language) - and immediately thought of you, and our discussion on this a while back! FINALLY! 😄

I did get in there and get the photos taken back off the platform but what a mess. If you have standard rooms/house this is great -but not for the unique properites

If I understood correctly, do you mean you managed to revert the photo-tour @Melanie318 ?  I was just looking into getting back to you and suggest to reach out to the Customer Support to have it undone.

I managed to get the photos out of the rooms and get rid of some of the rooms. 

The problem with the way it is set up - it searches all of your photos and puts them in rooms. We put pictures of area attractions and such on our sites to show guests what is around the rental.  The program can not distinction which photo is for the property versus which photo is for the local area. So the pictures of the local area get loaded in your house pictures. 

That is not good. 

For the program to be the most effective for the hosts it should have a platform that allows me to create rooms and load photos. 

It works good for traditional homes with a basic set up - but for anything that has a unique space, it is not set up for those. 

My one suite the shower unit is not in the bathroom - its completely seperate as the shower unit is a large glass block marble unit near the private Jacuzzi. 

As well, I am technically a bed and breakfast -though I am far from traditional, as all my suites have private entrances, private decks, 2 have full kitchens, one has a private Sauna, Jacuzzi, Coffee bar- one a home theater room.  The format they have doesn't allow me to showcase those features and they are huge selling points for me. 

I am sending a copy of this response to your question along with my other thoughts to Brian. While I do appreciate what they are attempting to do, I think it falls short for some of the unique properties they have. 

And the bombshell is - there is no sampling it before you committ to it. I was excited to have it do the tour thing - and then after I hit the button and saw what it created i was so disappointed.  It took me a while to get the pictures out of the rooms.
