Occupancy taxes charged in error

Airbnb is charging my guests City occupancy taxes but my property is outside of city limits in an unincorporated area. I contacted them about this in May, and was informed the matter was resolved but my guests are still being charged. Does anyone have tips on how to get to the right support team? Should I tell my guests to request a refund for those taxes?

I have the same issue and they say they fixed it and they haven’t.   I doubt a refund will work, but I bet there are alot of people who have this situation and don’t know it.   I am persistent in my case with airbnb.   I have sent a certified demand letter to the corporate office to try to get their attention.   Very frustrating!

I had a similar issue where taxes are charged on a negative service charge on one of my reservations.  I tried to contact Airbnb support and had to escalate to a manager who said he will escalate.  It appears to be a bug in the application, but Airbnb won't acknowledge it.
