Pricing showing up incorrectly on posting

Hi there,

I really need some help!!!!

I have set my base price as €250 but it is showing up on my listing as €107 and I have a request 😱😱😱 for next summer.  This means with the early bird discount is would reduce even further!!  What do I do?  and how do I fix it to show the correct price?

@Angela2609 you have some prices for next summer that are way lower than that: some days are set to around €30 ($47 Canadian). If you have the automated pricing set up, I would switch it off immediately. Maybe consider blocking your calendar until you get it sorted out. A year is a big booking window: it might be wise to start with a shorter window until you get things sorted out.

Then, go to your calendar and see what the pricing says. Change as needed. You can select a date range and make all days the same, update individual dates, or create rules.

If this guest has just sent an inquiry and not a request to book, just reply to their message and let them know pricing was incorrect. That's all you need to do to maintain your response rate.

Absolutely, I spent an hour on chat with support earlier and seemingly it's a technical glitch.  I dont want to block the dates off though because the calendar is shared with other platforms which would mean they would block as well

@Angela2609 maybe temporarily unlink them and block the calendar until you get it fixed? I know it's not ideal but it would stop the enquiries at a way too low price.

Thanks Alexandra, I've blocked off June - August 2020 (all these months seems to be an issue).  I just hope they fix it soon - that's the potentially busiest time for me 😞

Angela, are you using any of Airbnb's pricing suggestions?

You have to realise as far as Airbnb are concerned your property will never be cheap enough. Their object is to secure a booking, not make you money.

Set your own price and turn off any pricing tip suggestions you might have accessed, either purposely or inadvertently.

Using Airbnb's pricing tips is a shortcut to financial ruin!

Cheers.......Rob
