Would like some advice. we have a daily rate set and when guests book for 3 or 4 week stays we find that the rate airbnb offers them is significantly below the actually daily rates set in the system. Let’s say we have 100 per day, when we get bookings for 3 or 4 weeks then the actual earnings we get are about half. We have no weekly or monthly discounts set. Also we do not have smart pricing activated.
@Lisa6418 Airbnb does not set your prices, you do. I have read a couple other posts saying this happened to other hosts, too, though. There was a comment that Airbnb is doing this hoping hosts won't notice.
Contact customer service to try to find out what's going on. No way are they allowed to override host's pricing and if you get bookings at the wrong price, make Airbnb cancel them with no penalties to you.
