Hello, I’m a villa owner in Bali.  And I chose a property management company to look after my investment there. They have been managing it for 3 months now and I have been getting 5 star reviews, and I’m very happy about that. Is there any way to check how the villa villa is really doing? Things like-has anything being broken, is the garden being well maintained, are they looking after the pool correctly, etc etc. How do people in my position overcome these questions?

Your local cohost should have a system in place to do spot checks with cleaners and regular maintenance checks - that's what I do as a cohost @Lee5819 

what arrangements did you agree with the property management company about maintenance.

The listing should have been set up n your name as the owner with the management company as the cohost so you are able to see guest communications which is a good indicator.
