Requesting Money for Extra Services

Hello,

it seems I am unable to request money for extra services, I have a confirmed reservation for August. We have a fee for large dogs, but when I try to ''Request Money'' it says that I do not have eligible reservations, how come?

Also, does Airbnb take a service fee out of such payment requests? or do I get the full sum which I request?

Any input is greatly appreciated

This happened to me. The reason I was told by Airbnb was because the resolution center can only be used once. I had to call Airbnb and ask them to reach the guest to request money at that point. Airbnb's system has a lot of flaws, and I wish they'd resolve them to make it less of a time vacuum for hosts.

I'm not sure how legit this is, but I might get my own PayPal Scan Device to charge for additional fees upon arrival.  Of course, you all would want to get it ahead of time for a dog coming , but it might dispense with some additional headaches trying to set it up on-line....
