Rome-Annual fee for airbnb rentals?

I'm new to airbnb and have a place in Rome to rent.  I'm told there is an annual tax, beyond the 21% income tax.  This tax I'm told is na annual fee of approx 1500 Euros and is separate form the daily rental tax that airbnb collects.  Does anyone have any informaiton on this?
