St. Catharines mid-term listings successful?

How successful have Home Hosts been finding mid-term bookings in St. Catharines and surrounding areas? Terms of 28+ in accordance with local by-laws.

For the single in-law suite that I had built in my house, before the municipal changes, the licensing requirements seem pricey and time consuming. Has anyone in this situation chosen licensing in order to have shorter term guests?
