Stains left on rug

Stains left on rug

I hosted my place. After some time I noticed that my handmade rug had stains. Looks like the guests spilled something and tried to get it off. Since the rug needs to be sent for professional cleaning I asked to get reimbursed for the price of a cleaning. The service center wrote me not to be worried and so. The guest refused to pay and a case got opened for aircover. I was told to sent lots of pictures and documentation and finally asked to sent the receipt from the cleaning. I sent them the receipt I got and now I get a mail saying that the receipt isn't enough documentation? I am very frustrated about my experience!

Regarding future bookings, I would be concerned that this is likely to happen many times. You may have a more stress-free hosting experience if you don't leave a type of rug that has to be professionally cleaned. If you only use things that can be easily cleaned, you probably won't feel the need to claim again and will have fewer worries.
