UK Buildings Insurance

Hi there

This is  a question for UK Airbnb hosts.

We have a 4 bedroomed detached house which we rent out on Airbnb and VRBO. We do not have any AST at all.

We have had an annexe built in the grounds of the house which me and my husband are living in. We do not rent this out.

The annexe and house are all one property, same address, same postcode, one lot of council tax.

We need to insure both buildings.

No-one will insure us!  We have been trying for over a week - residential, commercial, landlords etc etc. We cannot possibly be the only Airbnb hosts doing this.

If anyone out there knows of any company who will do it, I would be most grateful.

@Helen31 Try JL Morris insurance brokers. We use them for the 3 apartments attached to our house. We actually have 2 policies - 0ne for our house from a cheap online source and then use the broker for the holiday lets.
