@Alan1497 I think you need an accountant. As you are running a business you probably need to register your tax details and then issue P60s for the payouts to the owners or class the payouts as expenses. I suspect HMRC would want the former as it is then easy for them to trace the tax liability but I don't know. Either way I am sure an accountant will sort it out for you.

Hi @Alan1497

presumably these properties are listed correctly under the property owners with yourself added as the cohost. In which case the property owners just need to add in their NI number or UTR for their listing to comply with the legislation ..

Hi @Helen3 , I set the two property listing up both for family members, husband and brother in law and set up the payouts to go to the relevant owner, as I do not work and they are too busy, non of the money comes to me. Reading your reply looks like they should have set up their own accounts and let me co host, was not aware this would be an issue now. All taxes have been paid for earnings on both properties and I have their UTI numbers etc. I presume it’s too late to change the way the listings are set up and will have to speak to HMRC at some point.

Hello @Alan1497,

Have you decided to follow any of the suggestions from our Hosts? Have you considered contacting an accountant?
