Unable to relist after successfully appealing San Francisco short term rental permit

Unable to relist after successfully appealing San Francisco short term rental permit

Hi everyone,

Earlier this year, I was denied a short term rental permit by the city of San Francisco, and thus unable to list my Airbnb unit for less than 30 days

I was able to successfully appeal my denial and the city has now granted me a permit, but I'm not able to figure out where / how to enter my registration # in order to re-list my unit (for rental less than 30 days), the "Regulations" tab where I should be able to enter the registration # states "Your registration was declined Your local government declined your request"

I reached out to Airbnb support over 2 weeks ago and they claimed to have escalated the issue but still no resolution.

Has anyone else encountered this issue? how do you get it resolved?

Thanks in advance.

I've been having the same problem in L.A.  I was delisted after my Permit # was hijacked by another Airbnb host.  The City investigated and reissued my license -- and contacted Airbnb.  After almost two weeks, I still can not relist.  The City has informed me that they have notified Airbnb of my valid new permit.

No one at Airbnb has responded to my inquiries.  When I call, Airbnb SupportI get told that it's been "escalated", but I never hear from anyone.  The support staff have no ability to speak directly with anyone with authority to take the necessary action.

I'm going to send Priority Mail letters to Airbnb President Brian Chesky and Host Relations Executive Aisling Hassell.  I emailed them over a week ago, and never heard back.

I'm an Airbnb Plus/Superhost, but the Airbnb "team" doesn't seem to care.

The same is happening to me on Seattle after I forgot to renew my city license. It’s been one week since my ticket was escalated (with Urgent status supposedly) to some Special Department that is not reachable apparently in any way. I’m not heartened by the fact you’re noting it took much longer. This is an absolutely ridiculously simple thing to address and ridiculously disrespectful to a long-time SuperHost (or anyone, frankly). Communicate SOMETHING. Strongly considering going to VRBO instead.
