What if Housing Society By-Laws Prohibit Shirt-Term Lets?

My Housing Society in Bangalore prohibits letting out apartments and rooms on short-term rentals like AirBnB. What is AirBnB's stance on this?

Many residential buildings and estates across the world do not permit short-term rental. The best you can do is to take it up with the management of your Housing Society to see whether you (and perhaps some other owners who would like to list on Airbnb) can change their minds.
