Why won't AirBnb tell us State of New Mexico GRT they use to remit taxes? Their StateTax Identification Number?

As reflected in another thread, the permit office won't renew a permit without proof of a GRT.  But you can't get one as an individual unless you pay income taxes in NM, and I don't live in NM and pay taxes on all income in CA (which would likely be much more $)

Airbnb won't tell us what number they use to report and pay the taxes they deduct from gross income.  Why not?

How in the world does a person in the UK understand my New Mexico tax issue? I requested Airbnb for a remittance tax number and in reply I get zero response but three more people who I don't know to contact.

How is it that my "handle" in a community chat is Allen79. Who picked that for me?

It seems, AI is taking over Airbnb and it's not good. NM wants the Airbnb tax remittance number to prove Airbnb paid the proper amount on my behalf. Its been three hours of calls  and texts and I get nothing but more chat. Ha!
