To become a cohost on Airbnb you need to be a superhost. According to @Patrick3184 profile he is a guest rather than a superhost so wouldn't be eligible I'm afraid.
Hey @Helen3,
Whilst there is some criteria to become a Co-Host, being a Superhost isn't one.

sorry @Rebecca you are not correct to sign up as a cohost on Airbnb you have to be a SH.
Hey @Helen3,
I see where there is some confusion. 'Co-Hosts' can often be trusted friends, partners, or someone from a professional team.
However, if you do go through the 'experienced Co-Host' via Airbnb, there is some criteria, similar to but not exactly the same as Superhost criteria:
To become an experienced Co-Host and allow potential Hosts nearby to contact you via the platform to inquire about your hosting services, you need to meet the following requirements and make sure you comply with all applicable local laws and regulations:
- You must be an existing Host or Co-Host on Airbnb in good standing, and within the last 12 months:
- You must have 10 or more stays as a Host or Co-Host on Airbnb
- Your reviewed stays across all accounts and listings you manage must have an average star rating by guests on Airbnb above or equal to 4.8
- You maintained a less than 3% cancellation rate, with exceptions made for certain valid reasons beyond the Host’s control
I hope this helps to clarify the criteria for Co-Hosts and experienced Co-Hosts.
