I requested some changes to my 1099 form, and no one has responded, no one knows anything, for over 15 business days, and Airbnb has no way of responding. Accessing support via chat or call makes no difference, the agents are completely unprepared to handle demands regarding problems with the tax form. The responses are always automatic responses that do not solve our problem. With the size of a large company that you have, you have to escalate the problem immediately. I know that not only me but dozens and dozens of people are waiting for their updated 1099s, you have to contact the IRS directly. The IRS is responsible for approving the changes, but you, who represent Airbnb, are the intermediaries and are responsible for sending this information. I am extremely dissatisfied with the shallow and unhelpful responses that are being given to us, when there is any response at all. My problem has already been escalated to be answered by email and I have not received any response.

have you asked for advice from your local host group - most of us won't even know what a 1099 is 😀

Sorry, I am just revolted with the situation.
