I started a conversation a few hours ago.  As I check for responses, I do not see my question:  Which carbon monoxide detector/alarm shall I purchase?

You need a CO detector in every room near a natural gas-appliance. For me that means near the clothes dryer. The smoke detectors I bought on Amazon at my electrician's advice that are also CO detectors:

I would check with the local authorities on what are the regulations for commercial use regarding monoxide alarms.

 

Regulations are different for every state.
