Hinterlegung der Steuernummer bei Airbnb - Datenschutzaspekt

Hallo zusammen,

Auch mich hat die Ankündigung von Airbnb, meine Einnahmen zu übermitteln, überrascht. Ok, aber was mich umtreibt ist der Datenschutzaspekt. Ich kann nirgends finden, das die Steuernummer etc. nur für die Übermittlung an das Finanzamt, übrigens in Irland! Genutzt wird. Wie ist sichergestellt, dass diese sensible Information Steuernummer, airbnb ist schließlich eine amerikanische Firma! nicht auch weitere Kreise zieht? Ich überlege tatsächlich, die Plattform zu wechseln.

Gibt es etwas zum nachlesen?

Hi, danke für die Links. Hat mir jetzt nicht viel gebracht, da dokumentiert ist, was sie mit den Daten machen, nicht wie sie geschützt sind. Ich kann also nicht verifizieren, dass meine Steuernummer ausschließlich für die übermittlung an das Finanzamt genutzt wird. Es geht nicht um die Übermittlung an das Finanzamt. Nicht nett, aber nicht zu ändern. 

Aber nur dafür sollte die Steuernummer genutzt werden. Dieses Commitment fehlt mir.

Du brauchst ja nur Deine Steuer ID eintragen, bei Booking müsstest Du das auch. Du bist nun Mal hier geschäftlich unterwegs.

Du hast Recht, die UstID um die es hier geht ist eine sensible Angelegenheit die vor Missbrauch geschützt werden muss wie auch zB Kreditkartendaten.

Da müssen wir wohl den Plattformen vertrauen.. aber auch bei schriftlichen Versprechen kann etwas schief gehen wie wir ja oft genug in der Vergangenheit gesehen haben.

Der Diebstahl von Daten ist für Verbrecher ein lukratives Geschäft und wird uns auch noch in Zukunft beschäftigen, leider gibt es dafür bis jetzt keine 100% Lösung.

Ja, es wird mir nichts anderes übrig bleiben, danke!
