Beds per Bathroom

Hello, 

Our space is a 4 bedroom, 3.5 bath house. The top floor has 2 full baths. The primary has a bathroom with shower, water closet, double vanity, and tub. The other two bedrooms share a full bath with tub-shower combo, toilet, with double vanity. You can close the door to the toilet and shower for privacy.

My question is that the other two bedrooms have queen-sized beds and a sleep sofa in the loft, all sharing one full bath. Should I increase the number of beds (possibly bunks or twins with trundles) without overwhelming the bathroom?

@Tracy1190   Have you checked with zoning to see how many persons your house is meant to accommodate?  

Another consideration is the guest group that you are hoping to attract.  If you want families, then yes, converting one or more bedrooms to child bunks (which are a housekeeper's nightmare) may be the way to go.  However, if your guest groups are mostly couples, more persons per bathroom may be a problem.

We decided that the top floor will be two Queens and two XL twins that can make a King (this is for Primary bedroom and 2 other bedrooms).  We may decide to put trundles under the twins. Our thinking is that if guests have children, they can share amongst the primary, or if it is a couple group then there would be a King bed. The sofa bed is moving to the lower level, so the other bathroom can accommodate if necessary. 

We have looked and looked for a maximum occupancy, but there isn't any. We can only rent 30 days minimum so we are not attracting party house guests.
