I think it totally depends on the property. I don't think that all listings should follow a set order like that because they will have different USPs or different areas that are the most attractive.

Because I host private rooms in a shared house rather than an entire unit, I always use a photo of the individual bedroom as the first one because I believe that's the thing that my guests are going to be most interested in. They are going to be way more interested in that than a photo of the front of the property. That is why you will see that most private room listings start with a photo of the guest bedroom.

For another host in another location, it might be a fantastic pool. Or, they could be on a beautiful lake and that is the image that will make people click rather than the exterior of the home. 

There are lots of places that have amazing interiors or amenities but the exterior is not that exciting, so I don't see why one would automatically choose a photo of the front of the property as the first one.
