Hi I want to Airbnb my annexe which i converted and in the process of getting the title deeds split, but my insurance company and another have said that I can’t get insurance unless it is split - has anybody else had this issue and also which is a good insurance company to go to for this?  Many thanks for any possible help or advice.

@Elizabeth3731 call JLMorris insurance brokers who are Airbnb specialists. I can't see why you would need to split the title but I would also be concerned about capital gains tax when you eventually sell. If the annexe has a door to the house you could use the government rent a room scheme and get £7500 income tax free.
