Inquiry confirmation and pre-approvement

Hello guys, I`m new in this but How can i disallow payment for my guests before my pre-approvement?

@Stella479 You will need to turn off Instant Booking. See https://www.airbnb.com/help/article/1510/how-do-i-use-instant-book for instructions on how to do that. Then, the guest will need to send a booking request to you before they book your place and will not be charged before you approve them.

I am new to hosting.   I have two enquiries for the entire month of October.   I Pre approved both.   Now how does this work?   Does the forst one to confirm get the booking or what happens

@Roy775 Indeed it is first come first served so whomever books first gets the place. Some guests send out many inquiries so it is entirely possible neither will book. If you prefer one over the other you could message your preference asking if they are still interested as you are getting other inquiries..

I have a pre-approval which came in for 1 adult. The guest's note states her and her husband. Shouldn't the preapproval state 2 adults?
