I am getting ZERO booking like a parched elephant in the sub sahara Dubai!
i am about to give up
@Lakhinder0. Hi Lakhinder. Hosting is hard work and looking at your profile you are one busy person!
Its not a license to print money and you need a combination of determination, great people and business skills, patience and sometimes a thick skin. Even if you never meet your guests you still need to be in regular communication with them.
I note you have reviews from a previous listing that has now gone and you are hosting a new one. Just double check every item listed is available and working, and your descriptions match. Its the little things that let us all down.
Having said all that, we are in an economic downturn and many markets are competing for the same guests so you have to offer something pretty special to stand out imo.
Just my 2 cents. Good luck.
sorry zero help maybe you can come to one of my events and put your money where your mouth is and then i will do the same for you
@Lakhinder0. I am sorry you feel that way about the advice I provided. This Community Center is a forum for hosts and guests to help each other.
Frances, great advice! We’re not seeing an economic downtown and AirBnB has been a great partner when we’ve needed it. People are traveling and enjoy high end assets that are well appointed. We self manage and communicate early and often with every single guest. If you’re getting 0 in Florida in January maybe take a real tough look in the mirror.
