Queen or Full?

I'm setting up a 2nd guest room which is large enough for a king bed, however since it's shared housing i would be accepting single guest only. I'm wondering what size bed may be preferred by a single guest. A smaller bed would give me room to have other options in the room such as a sitting room and a kitchenette.

If it is for a single guest room I would go with the queen bed.  If the room is big enough for a king, a double bed will look very small in that room.  In my experience a room that seems that it doesn't have enough furniture in it is not comfortable.

As per my experience with guests, I suggest to to put a single bed.

So guests can have more space in the room.

Also the amenities you mentioned will be more practical than doubling the bed size

Hello there!

I guess queen size will be just perfect

keep some room for a workstation and maybe recliner near to the T.V or in case you choose to have the T.V at the workstation setup (to connect the laptop to a bigger screen while working) a recliner will be a nice addition near the balcony or window view 🙂

Hi Kathleane,

a single bed will be more practical in my opinion as you're planning to use the rest of the space for other amenities. i hope this helps. Good luck 🙂

I think if you can put in the extra amenities such as a kitchen/sitting room I would chose a smaller bed 👍

I honestly would consider a fall. Are a Queen? A queen would be the largest, and I'd even do a single if it looked aesthetically pleasing
