I am prepping my property for its 2nd season. I have been going through the updated fire regs and got a question surrounding fire doors.
My property is classified as a caravan as it’s on a chassis. As such it has thin walls and also thin doors (35mm thick) they are also fairly narrow (610mm). I have struggled to find fire doors to fit at a reasonable cost.
reading the regs I see that the doors don’t necessarily need to be rated fire doors. So they could be solid core doors, but guidance also says they would normally be 45mm thick.
just wondering what other hosts are doing in similar circumstances.
any advise is gratefully received.
