What color linens and towels do find to be easiest to keep stain free for a beach front condo?

What color linens and towels do find to be easiest to keep stain free for a beach front condo?  With self tanners, suntan lotions and oils, white does not work.  I have switched to light grey for towels and blue and white stripe linens but still have issues with stains being yellow or brown.

Oxiclean for whites seems to help a lot. Any other tips?

I have been hosting for many years and my linens and towels have always been white. There are many tricks of the trade for getting out any number of substances from white linens and towels. And yes, Oxiclean is one of my favorite products for soaking the soiled bits before placing the item in the washer.

I have heard some guests say that they prefer white, so that they can “tell they are clean”. Other hosts have other experiences and preferences, though - there really isn’t a right or wrong answer.

I have tons of iron in the well water at the cabin and even have an expensive green sand filter to remove as much as possible.  I recently switched to green sheets and towels as these seem to hide the possible iron stains.  This color goes well with the cabin's colors.  White is a nightmare as once iron stains the cloth, there is little I can do to remove the stain. @Pat271 @Rhoda29

@Dennise-Ann0  Although you’ve already solved all the problems with your linens and sheets, I was wondering if you ever tried a lemon(!) for iron stains:
