I had an inquiry from a bunch of students that wants to rent my house for the summer. The person making the booking has some previous reviews but how can I ask for reviews for each person in the group?
You can't.
It looks like your last revew was May 2022? Do you just list the home for a few months in the summer? Do you have someone who can keep an eye on things for you if you are traveling?
I would request photo IDs for all guests staying and ensure they are all actually listed on the reservation. You'll have to make clear what the house rules are and that no one except those listed on the reservation may be on property (no unregistered guests or visitiors). You can make an exception if you like if the ask for approval of a day visitor (no addl overnight guests not on the reservation). The booking guest adds the other guests to the reservation. I would require all the other guests to have an an Airbnb profile, so you can see their names on the reservation, not just "guest".
Even doing the above having college students book long-term stays can be risky. It's up to you if you want to assume the risk. Not sure if you are experienced with long-term stays and how they differ on the plaform, but here is a Guide that might be helpful:
Monthly Stays on Airbnb
Hi @Clay275. Nice to read you in the community. 😃
Were you able to find reviews from the group that wants to stay in your house for the summer?
@Joan2709 left you a great answer with some tips that might help you find a solution to your question. ✨
Looking forward to hear from you.
Best regards,
Alex
Thanks for your help. The suggestions are really good although they may be difficult to use. When I make travel arrangements, I usually ignore the screen to list all the guest. I can't even find the screen where it ask for this. It would be perfect if all guest had an airbnb profile, that is what I rely on most. I don't know how I would find that information on the airbnb site.
For your situation, I would require all guests staying to have an Airbnb profile and be invited to the group stay by the primary booker. This means they all need to create an Airbnb profile. This is a protection for you, as they all must verify their IDs with Airbnb and be at least 18yrs old to create an Airbnb profile.
The primary booker invites them to the group trip:

I would still require photo ID at check-in. You must disclose that requirement on your listing before they book.
Add guest to a group happens after the reservation has been confirmed. I need it to happen before I accept the reservation
Correct...the only thing you can do on Airbnb is see the request to book for the number of guests prior to booking.
You could stipulate that in order to accept the booking, all guests must provide a photo ID, but that would have to be disclosed on the listing before booking in Addl House Rules. Airbnb usually states that Hosts should only require that if local laws require the Host to obtain it, but many Hosts require it even without any local regulations.
