converting business space into air bnb and planning

Hi,

We have a high street shop and considering options for the upper floor. This is already A2 planning, does anyone have advice on the necessary planning and change of use please? As it is already a business and our Air bnb would be business do I need to change use to residential?

@Sharon1624 Ring your local planning department. They are usually very helpful and will give you the correct guidance for your locality.

Hello @Sharon1624  you need to speak to the planners at your local council and ask them what type of planning permission you need and whether it is likely to be granted in terms of their UDP for the area.

As you know A2 planning use is for financial and professional services so wouldn't apply to a commercial rental.
