Please don't forget, that Nov 11 is a National Holiday in France (Armistice 1918). It marks the end of World War I and commemorates those who were killed during the war.

Yes, but ATM's are accessible 24/7.

There are also "private" ATM's in shops; usefull if you find no "official" one. But they charge an extra commission.

BTW: Never accept that the ATM's local provider "guarantees" the exchange rate. Often you have the choice between the withdrawal act performed in EUR or in your original curreny. Take the EUR rate, and let YOUR bank do the converting calculation. It's more reliable, and cheaper.

My whole family and myself will be arriving by car from Barcelona, by the 11th at noon, after a 9-10 hours car trip.
