The way pricing is completed where by the “clickbait” syndrome of stating that the charge for a night is $38 grows to $71 when you want to book. This includes cleaning fees, service fees and taxes. Be open from the start. In the USA you buy something and then at the counter you are levied tax, in effect the price you are buying on the shelf is a lie. This is insane 

Where  I come from it’s against the Trade Decriptions Act. This is a total rip off and I’m sick of getting the cost just before I book. Get honest Airbnb.

@Robin562 Airbnb displays the lowest price a host has set up. When you search for properties always select dates and you will get the exact price. Prices vary and if you don't enter a date how should Airbnb know which price to display. Should it be the highest?

.... and don't forget to select the number of people in your group because very often additional guests are charged as well.
