airbnb open tickets available

Hi!

At first let me say that I dont knwo where else to go. I have been looking for extra tickets for the Open everywhere with no luck. I was suppose to attend a meeting elsewhere during the same dates of the Airbnb Open so I was not able to attend the conference. My meeting was cancelled today do extenuating circumstances and I am looking to but 1 or 2 extra spots in this years conference.

Thank you very much for your attention.

@Juan92  As you already know there are no more passes at this time.  However, I wonder if anyone who planned to attend now isn't able and if their passes are transferable.  Did you try to contact Air BNB Open to see if they know of any?  Maybe someone on this site is looking for someone to buy their passes.

I have to work this weekend. Although I would love to be there, I can sell you my one ticket.

Could I buy your ticket?-208-724-7900

@Jerry38  Please see the posting from @Lizzie advising that tickets are not transferable.

208-724-7900 still have a ticket

Hello @Juan92,

Lovely to meet you.

Just to add what @Linda108 mentioned, I am afraid that as tickets are linked to your specific Airbnb account and ID will need to be shown at check-in the Airbnb Open tickets are non-transferable. I just wanted to highlight this to you incase you do buy one as this does mean it will be unlikely that you will be able to access the event and it would be awful if you had paid for a ticket and this is the case.

You might be interested in attending the Open Spotlight event on evening of Satuday (Nov 18th) which there are still some tickets on sale for, take a look at the Open Spotlight page on the Airbnb Open hub. It is going to be a great event. 🙂

Hope this helps.

Lizzie

@Lizzie Can you please explain *why* tickets aren't transferrable? It's looking like many people want to buy tickets to the sold-out event -- and other people can no longer make it and want to transfer it to them. It seems like a huge disservice to your community to not support ticket transfers.

I've been running a major conference (2000 attendees) in San Francisco for the last 5 years, and we always allow ticket transfers as many other conference and events do. There isn't a lot of complicated logistics involved in switching names.
