You’ve told us that managing reservations from home or on the go could be easier and more consistent. As we did with changes to your reservations list, we’ve listened to your feedback, studied hosts’ concerns raised with the community-support team, and run research studies to understand how we could improve your experience. Here’s a sneak peek of upcoming changes built on your input.

 

Consistent information wherever you go

Soon, whether you’re managing reservations on the Airbnb app or website, you’ll have the same set of reservation details available. What’s more, anywhere you see a reservation—in your calendar, the message thread, your dashboard, or your reservations list—you’ll be able to take action right from that screen, which means it will be faster and more efficient for you to handle each reservation.

More details about reservations and guests

We’re giving you more specific information about the status of each reservation. And you’ll also get more details about the guest associated with each reservation without having to click into their profile. You’ll know how long they’ve been on Airbnb, what languages they speak, and if they’re a host like you, so you can make confident booking decisions and interact with your guests efficiently and quickly, all from one screen.

 

More payment details

You’ve told us that you wanted your expected payout dates to be even more visible. Numerous hosts called our  community support team about this, so we made sure payout dates were easier to find. We’ve added a link to your transaction history and expected payout dates alongside every reservation.

 

Answers to your frequently asked questions, right where you need them

By studying the types of questions that come up most often for inquiries and reservations, we’ve been able to anticipate what answers might be most helpful to you based on the reservation you’re currently managing. We’ve added links to reservation-specific FAQs at the bottom of every reservation so you can get the information you need, when you need it.

 

More consistent tools and views

Previously, if you had Instant Book turned on for a listing, you could only hold dates when you pre-approved a guest on the website. Now you can do so in the app too. And the private notes feature, which was previously available only in the calendar, is now available anywhere you see a reservation.

 

All these improvements are coming your way in the next few months, and we hope they help make quick work of managing your reservations. Thanks to all the hosts who gave us feedback and joined focus groups. Let us know what you think of these changes and others you’d like to see.

You can split the payment still. The only change is both are getting 1099s now.

The app no longer seems to let me export the booking to my calendar by touching the dates.  Is there a different way? 

Massachusetts just signed the tax on home rentals into law. Now what? 

I really like the changes and having all the information in one place. Thank you, Airbnb!

YOU GUYS DID SOME KIND OF UPDATE YESTERDAY WHERE I CAN NO LONGER SEE MY AVAILAABLE MULTIPLE AIRBNB LISTINGS. 

I HAVE A BED AND BREAKFAST HOUSE WITH 6 ROOMS IN AIRBNB (11 TOTAL AVAILABLE ROOMS) , I LIST EACH IN AIRBNB EACH AS INDIVIDUAL OR THE WHOLE HOUSE UNDER ONE ROOM FOR LARGE GROUPS.  SOMEONE WOULD CALL AND SAY THEY NEED 4 ROOMS FOR A CERTAIN DATE, I WOULD PULL UP MY CALENDAR AND SEE ALL THE ROOMS AVAILABLE,  EASY PEASY.   

NOW WITH THIS UPDATE MY WHOLE CALENDAR IS GREY, EXCECPT FOR THE BOOKINGS WHICH WERE ALREADY MADE.  I CANNOT SEE DATES AT ALL, IT IS ALL GREY.  I CALLED HELP AND THEY TOLD ME IS IS WHERE I OPT IN OR OUT OF PROFESIONAL TOOLS IN MY SETTINGS, SO IF I USE PROFESSIONAL TOOLS, I CAN ONLY SEE MY ROOMS ONE BY ONE, VERY INEFFICIENT TO ME, AS I NEED TO SEE ALL AVAILABLE.  THIS WOULD TAKE ME OVER AN HOUR TO BOUNCE BACK AND FORTH IF SOMEONE NEEDS MULTIPLE ROOMS.   YOUR NEW UPDATE STATES  "

THIS UPDATE IS IN NO WAY MORE EFFICIENT TO ME, IT IS DEVASTATING.  AND IF I GO BACK TO NOT USING PROFESSIONAL TOOLS, I CANNOT SEE ANY DATES ON MY CALENDAR ANYMORE, SO NO, YOU ARE LYING WHEN YOU STATE "MORE EFFICIENT" AND "SWITCH BACK"    PLEASE FIX IT TO WHERE IT WAS YESTERDAY, WHERE I CAN SEE MY CALENDAR WITH ALL ROOMS WITH THE DATES, NOT GREYED OUT.  SUPERHOST

Yes, please bring back the export to calendar feature!!! Why would you remove useful features that don't clutter the UI?

Why??? Airbnb did you just change the layout of the reservation details so that the booking payment details are below the guest's name instead of above their name and also it's now all spread out so all the main info she needs won't fit on one screenshot from my ph to hers so she doesn't lose any info in separate screenshots.

Now when I screenshot it to my property mgr I have to give her the name separately so as to keep my payments & pvt business confidential.

You've actually made it more difficult not easier like you're claiming.

It was difficult enough before having to scroll down to just the right spot to block payment details but now it's impossible to send it through without payment details. I can't even copy and paste what I need to send as the system doesn't allow for that either. So frustrating when on the go to have to try get around this somehow. Please help asap thx

I don't like the new format. How do i export to my diary?  I used to just tap the booking date a it would save all info to my diary. No longer. Dissappointed.

 

Agreed! Has anyone figured out how to export reservations to your calendar with this new layout?
