You’ve told us that managing reservations from home or on the go could be easier and more consistent. As we did with changes to your reservations list, we’ve listened to your feedback, studied hosts’ concerns raised with the community-support team, and run research studies to understand how we could improve your experience. Here’s a sneak peek of upcoming changes built on your input.
Consistent information wherever you go
Soon, whether you’re managing reservations on the Airbnb app or website, you’ll have the same set of reservation details available. What’s more, anywhere you see a reservation—in your calendar, the message thread, your dashboard, or your reservations list—you’ll be able to take action right from that screen, which means it will be faster and more efficient for you to handle each reservation.
More details about reservations and guests
We’re giving you more specific information about the status of each reservation. And you’ll also get more details about the guest associated with each reservation without having to click into their profile. You’ll know how long they’ve been on Airbnb, what languages they speak, and if they’re a host like you, so you can make confident booking decisions and interact with your guests efficiently and quickly, all from one screen.
More payment details
You’ve told us that you wanted your expected payout dates to be even more visible. Numerous hosts called our community support team about this, so we made sure payout dates were easier to find. We’ve added a link to your transaction history and expected payout dates alongside every reservation.
Answers to your frequently asked questions, right where you need them
By studying the types of questions that come up most often for inquiries and reservations, we’ve been able to anticipate what answers might be most helpful to you based on the reservation you’re currently managing. We’ve added links to reservation-specific FAQs at the bottom of every reservation so you can get the information you need, when you need it.
More consistent tools and views
Previously, if you had Instant Book turned on for a listing, you could only hold dates when you pre-approved a guest on the website. Now you can do so in the app too. And the private notes feature, which was previously available only in the calendar, is now available anywhere you see a reservation.
All these improvements are coming your way in the next few months, and we hope they help make quick work of managing your reservations. Thanks to all the hosts who gave us feedback and joined focus groups. Let us know what you think of these changes and others you’d like to see.
I also am very unhappy at stopping the splitting of payment to my co-host. Since I live in another country from her (and from where I have my Airbnb property), its very inconvenient to have to provide a 'float' in advance hazarding a guess at how much business we shall garner. Why was this service stopped? For me and my co-host, it had been working a treat. I am frankly annoyed that you did that. It has made my life far more difficult.
oh dear, yet another unintended (i hope) adverse consequence of the new design - now that you can only 'accept' or 'decline' a booking you can nolonger answer a question that might affect the booking, like can you park outside your house. now you have to accept, send a separate message, which might mean a change of mind on the booking, not such a problem for hosts, but an issue for the guest who will have to go thru your cancellation procedure.
i see there a lot of adverse comments, can't we go back to where we were please? not all change is positive.
I don't know what you did but I have no way to put review for guests and it is also what some my guests were saying they were not able to place review in the system for my place.
Cheers

On PC/Laptop, click on "Home" or the Airbnb symbol at the top of the page. This opens the Notifications screen. Notifications to add guest reviews will display there. Click on each review request to complete a review. The Notification screen also lets you know when guests have left a review.
I would like the guests to be able to add on pool heat please.
HOTEL OCCUPANCY TAX line item for folk staying less than 30 days in Houston TX....
I know AirBnB extracts and pays the 6% state tax, but it would be nice if --like in some localities I have visited--if a new feature would allow us to add a standard line to include--or allow us hosts to add in as a line item-- the 11% balance needed to cover County and City HOT taxes for short stays! Some guests balk and think we are spoofing them requiring me to actually prove it's a legitimate expense--one that they pay any hotel at the end of their stay without question.
Just one of the reasons I gravitate towards the long term guests I primarily book.
You've created missed one major issue. Usually a request to book, or an instant booking has a message from the guest. The message is not on the main page for either computer version or app version. I had to look for the message a guest left. In one request I received today, I had to leave the first page to find the message the guest left. The message was pertinent to the reservation details, and will affect weather or not I accept or decline the reservation.
Por mi no hacia falta cambiar tanto, como estava antes con las fotos de los hostes en vertical...pues en horizontal y lo demas bien igual y que todo quepa en la 1 hoja.
gracias por sus esfuerzos.
Hi to all, about the
On my laptop, when I look at the calendar for each room, I would like to be able to easily find out the average rented-out price on each night of the week. However, I can only find that information if AirBnB choose to give it to me. (It's sometimes available, when there's a lightbulb icon.) Could this information please be made always available when a date is clicked on?
The review process is not clear to guests. I've just had, yet another, guest give me 5 stars in every category, but only 4 stars overall.
His public review said: "I had a lovely weekend in Bristol staying in Debra's home. I was made to feel very welcome and everything was exactly as described. I'd recommend people to stay if you enjoy feeling like you're sharing someone else's home and meeting lovely, interesting, authentic people."
His private message said: "It was lovely to meet you Debra. Sorry there was not a chance to say goodbye. I'll book again if ever I'm back in Bristol for an event!"
It looks to me as though he was really happy with his stay, but he has used a hotel star-grading system instead of the AirBnB system, where 5 stars overall = pass and 1, 2, 3 or 4 stars overall = fail.
AirBnB, please make it clearer to guests how you use their overall star rating to judge hosts.
Excellent! Thank you so much!
I truly miss the calender not being shown on the reservation page... extra steps to get a visual of when guests arrive along with concurrent bookings... PLEASE put the calender back visible on booking page!!!
You have created more work and time.

What happened to the little "key" icon on the phone app, which housed my driving instructions and photos? I use this for every guest and now I can't find it. Please help. Thank you
PS. If I view my upcoming reservation for Casey Hazard, May 16,, the icons, including the key is not at the bottom of my screen on my phone. But when I pull up the reservation for the same room on May 18, Sandra Turner, the icons, including the key, is visible at the bottom of my phone screen. I took screenshots if you want to see them, or you might be able to log in and see what I see. Thank you,
