No separate thermostat

No separate thermostat

Hello all. I am looking to set up a mother in law suite as an Airbnb. Do you think I could rent it without them having access to a thermostat if in the listing it stated the temperature would always be set at 73? The home’s AC system is not separate from the rental unit. I’m open to installing a wall unit in the bedroom if need be. Does anyone else rent like this or have any suggestions? TIA!

@Courtney504 setting the house temperature at 73 does not mean the suite temperature will be 73

@Courtney504  If you are talking about installing a window AC unit, that will be helpful in ensuring guest comfort.  You can also have two remotes for the unit so that when you see that your guest has left the property for the day and the window unit is still running, you can reset it or turn it off without entering the suite.
