@Styliani4 Are you sure it was asking fir a VAT number? European hosts have to supply some sort of tax ID now to comply with EU rules

If you have an EU property listing, or have an EU country of residence according to  records, new EU law (“DAC 7”) requires Airbnb to collect and share your taxpayer information on your listings. You will find more information here.
