A Host’s Nightmare – Seeking Help from Fellow Airbnb Hosts

Hey everyone,

I'm Arif

I never thought I’d be writing this, but we’re at a complete loss and need your advice. After five years of successfully hosting on Airbnb, we now find ourselves trapped in an endless cycle of frustration and helplessness. Every single listing and account we create gets removed—sometimes within hours, never lasting more than 24.

We’ve tried everything. We’ve used the same apartments we once managed on Airbnb, checked for duplicates, verified every detail, and even offered Airbnb full proof of ownership—title deeds, lease agreements, real-time location verification, in-person meetings at the properties, you name it. And yet, the result is always the same: Suspended. Removed. Gone.

We’ve called Airbnb support countless times, hoping for an explanation. The only response? That our listings are reported as “not real places to stay.” But how? These are the same apartments we hosted guests in just two years ago! Nothing has changed—except that now, we apparently don’t exist.

To make things worse, even friends who’ve tried hosting have faced the exact same issue. It’s as if an AI-powered fraud detection system is on a rampage—flagging and removing listings the moment they go live. And this is happening despite Dubai, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia requiring government-registered permit numbers, which we’ve provided with every listing.

This isn’t just business for us—it’s our livelihood. The income from hosting was meant to cover our daughter’s tuition fees and critical medical exams. Now, we’re left fighting an invisible force that doesn’t even let us explain ourselves.

Has anyone been through something similar? Does anyone know how to break this loop and get Airbnb to actually listen? We’re desperate for a solution, and any advice would mean the world to us.

Apologies for the long post, but if you’re reading this, I truly appreciate your time. Wishing you all success, and hoping no one else has to go through this nightmare.

Thank you.

I don't understand why are you creating multiple listings and accounts - this is likely why your listings are being flagged/removed @Arif206

why not carry on with your existing listings? What ratings did they have?

sorry difficult to advise as you haven't provided a full picture

The problem started with creating multiple listings with the same appartment

And I think it's already against the their policies
