Accessibility Features, Required: Add New Photos even though all submitted photos prove the feature

I get around in a wheelchair - T4/T5 Paraplegia. We remodeled our condo to be completely wheelchair accessible. We took pictures that met the criteria for all accessibility features - parking, no steps to the entry, 32" wide entry, etc. etc. Some features were approved. Some have been rejected multiple time with many detailed pictures. Yet support says the process is "completely automated" and cannot be overridden. Am I being gaslit? Or is there something missing in my photos? Were you able to find the alchemy to get these accepted?

Things being consistently denied for unspecified reasons:

* Accessible Parking Spot

* Step-Free path to guest entrance

* Step-Free Guest entrance. (interior doors were all approved)

* Guest Entrance wider than 32". (interior doors were all approved)

Hi @Steven1694

Hmmm....I have only worked on accessibility photos for a home, not a condo. The criteria for each photo to be accepted is listed in the accessibility section of the listing, but it sounds like you have tried to comply with that? Airbnb used to have a "Team" dedicated to this when they first introduced it and it took forever to get photos approved.

Sounds like it might be an AI photo review system now? Does your condo have reserved handicapped parking? Since this is a condo complex, might be difficult to get the entire "step-free path to entrance" as that would have to include the main lobby doors and entrance to elevator? Seems like the AI might be having difficulty identifing the required features in the photos you are submitting. Without knowing the details of the photos you submitted, it's difficult to determine why they were rejected.

I'm assuming you have read through the requirements for each photo, but below is the Airbnb Help article on Accessibility Photo Requirements:

Since Airbnb controls approval of each photo, you'll probably have to continue to try and work with them on the issue.
