Airbnb cancels and wipes out all correspondence

I'm pretty sure some one is trying to book again after Airbnb has already cancelled them.  When Airbnb sends you notice that they cancelled, I get that- but it is frustrating not being able to still go back and remember what the conversation was.  I'm trying research some past inquiries to confirm whether this person has already tried to book my place once before.  I don't want to erroneously block someone or reach out to Airbnb under wrong assumptions or because of my faulty memory.

@Susan10 When we started hosting, one very thoughtful host had put up a lot of organisation tips online for hosts to review. One of these was that you should make a spreadsheet to keep a record not only of guests, but also of enquiries--and have a column like "Accepted?" where you can write a Yes/No answer in, and another column for comments. We use something like that now and have found it immensely helpful, as you won't have to rely on your memory if you have a record of these things. Just a suggestion.
