App is being very slow - problem :/

Hello everyone,

I hope you're all doing well.

I'm experiencing issues with the Airbnb app—it’s running very slowly, and typing messages has become frustrating. Each letter takes a few seconds to appear, which often leads to typos and makes communication difficult.

Has anyone else experienced this issue? Does anyone know a possible solution? I've already reported it to Airbnb support, but they haven’t been able to provide a solution. On their end, everything seems to be working fine.

I've checked on my iPhone and my messages are not affected by this slowness so could you tell us what type of phone you are using please so that others you maybe using the same one as you can check their end?

I am assuming that you have downloaded the latest Airbnb app - a new version came out a few months ago?

Hi! thanks for your answer! Iphone actually 🙂 I did downloaded the last version so not sure what's going on... maybe a lot of messages????

If you are using Safari - try using Chrome to see if this helps. 

I would also try turning off and back on my phone!

Thanks @Joelle43 ! jiji it's iPhone 15. I am using safari on my notebook but on my phone it's just the app. and it's only there where I am experiencing problems. Thanks anyway... 🙂 have a great day

Hello sad to report the same issue for myself 

iphone 13 pro

Each letter I type flashes the screen and takes longer and longer to reflect it on screen.  

first line is relatively fast and from second line it is just impossible to type. 

I have deleted and reinstalled the app but to no improvement. Also killing and restating the app didn’t help.

I am facing same issue since I have downloaded the latest Airbnb app. 

Message typing is really cumbersome. Also very allow notifications I receive.

can anyone guide what to do with?
