Availability window not working on one property...

Hi guys, I am managing 2 properties, which are both up for sale, the listings were created at the same time, and the settings are identical on both.  I have set the availability window to 3 months, so I can manage bookings if a sale starts, and it it working fine on one listing, but not the other...  Both say the exact same things on the Calendar Settings, but one shows the dates blocked off and the other doesn't...  I guess I must have another setting overriding this one somewhere that i have missed?? Can anyone help please?

Are you using Instant Book? Airbnb has added a new feature (didn't tell Hosts) that automatically opens up your calendar past your availability window if using instant book. These guests will have to request to book and it appears your calendar is open further out. I would check that setting on your calendar and turn it OFF. Airbnb defaulted it to ON! Bad idea:

I totally agree with you @Joan2709 .The support department is really the only thing on the AirBnB platform that needs immediate reorganization. App bugs, glitches, or new "improvements" are not as frustrating as the lack of support for really important things. The look of the control panel, icons, moving images, AI actions are not helpful to the user. What counts is functionality and intuitive operation.

Your idea with the Host Advisory Panel would bring many benefits in my opinion, if its operation were accompanied by some competences. Our Administrators, forum moderators, and the Host Council could lobby to establish something like that. 

I've been on the hosts forum for too short a time to know who to interest in this idea. Maybe you, as more experienced people, know who to tag so that this idea doesn't end up in this thread.

I was keeping an eye on this thread and looked around for more information.

 

In addition to what Joan said , I found this article that shares information related to the 👉 availability window and how hosts can choose how far in advance guests can book.
