Changing listing between Entire Place to Shared Space as needed

Hi All, 

I am not sure how to do this, but there are times when my entire place is available, and times when I would be present, and would want guests to know it is a shared space. Would this require creating a whole new listing if it is the same space? I would still have the same number of rooms available, I would just move myself into my lower level while guests were upstairs. It would be a shared space, because I have to enter and exit through the main level that is rented out. If it has to be a separate listing, will that require additional fees through Airbnb or the city? Thanks for any advice!

@Molly508 The only proper way to do this is to have two listings. Link the calendars to ensure you don't get double booked and then just block the dates on the whole home when you are around.  You can duplicate the listing but check everything as things like cancellation policy and instant book as these do not duplicate properly.

It won't affect Airbnb charges in any way - no idea how your city would react.
