Changing price in base of the number of the guests

Hi!

I am a host located in Stamford, CT and I was wondering if anybody knows how to change the nightly rate based on the number of guests staying at the property. I am aware there is an extra fee charge option you can adjust after a certain amount of guests. However, is there an option in which I could state how much I wish to charge for 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and so on individuals... Basically one by one - similar to the option Airbnb offers when stating you much you wish to charge by each day of the week.

Thank you!

Ana Roa.

@Ana33240 the option you describe doesn't exist. The issue with charging per person is that unless you live on-site it is very difficult to monitor how many people are actually staying. You could consider a 2nd listing with fewer bedrooms and lock those not booked. Calendars can be linked to avoid double bookings.

Is this what you mean:

  1. Log in to your Airbnb account and go to your listing.
  2. Click on "Pricing."
  3. Click on "Additional guests."
  4. Check the "Additional guests" checkbox.
  5. Enter the amount you want to add for each additional guest.
  6. Click "Save."

The additional fee will then be added to the price of your listing for each additional guest after the first guest.

Hello @Ana33240, Welcome to the Airbnb Community 😊

I just came across your post and noticed that Bob and Mike have provided different pieces of advice that could be helpful for adjusting prices based on the number of guests. Have you tried any of these options?
