My listing got sold. New owner is looking to keep under my Host profile the current reservations (just 2). The rest of the calendar will be open under the new profile (another host with the same property listed).
Do I add him as a co-host to mine? Or do I have guest cancel with me and book with the new one?
*i do not mind having him as a co-host to help him monitor those 2 reservations. I'm just looking for the best solution for the guest.
I’m pretty sure a lawyer would advise you that if you no longer have the property under your name that all should be placed under his, AirBnB included. Too many negative possibilities could occur and we are a litigious society. You could be liable. I would suggest break clean, let the guest coming that they can book the same dates through his site. You were nice to consider his offer but the gains would definitely be in his favor. Just my thought,
@Nicole3401 When I bought a villa, we had many reservations. Cancelling (by host or guest) would lead to complications. We agreed that the rent would be mine (the new owner) We changed the bank account in my name and made me cohost
