Contacting previous renters about new management team w lower prices?

We just decided to let our property manager go and manage house ourselves. Is there any way to contact previous guests who loved our house and let them know we have lower rates now? I know we can write it in our description but would love to have past renters come back.

I believe you can type an email template and copy/paste and send to all your past guests.

 

I think that's the best option.

Im not sure that is correct, yes you contact previous guest but to blast a load of emails out, I think Airbnb would block that as Spam,

I wouldn't risk getting shut down or banned for doing that.

How many previous guest do you get returning? in our case one or two in all the years we have been on airbnb,

I don't get a lot of returning guests, but i'm sure that if you just copy/paste a simple template you won't be shut down. Maybe something like: ''Hi, just wanted to let you know that we lowered our rates for the next season and new management took over to improve your stay''. Two or three sentences is enough.

In the UK you can't do this as you need to get permission from those you are marketing to that they are happy to receive your marketing emails @Michael6934

Good luck with that,

First, why lower your rates? with the cost of running an airbnb gone up here in Thailand our electric went up 300%, 

No doubt you can contact some of your previous guest via the message system I would think airbnb have something in place to stop you sending out loads of email and get you banned, 

In my experience some previous guest just book some others have asked for a discount, I dont do discounts, one guy the other week can I do him a good deal, We already provide him with a good deal what is a good deal to him is not a good deal to me, so no I didn't give him a discount.

We are in this business to make money and to maintain the standards we have to make a profit,
