Hi, We just finish our first summer of renting our chalet. Would like to have feedback to see what else we could improve on our listing.
Here's the link to the listing : airbnb.ca/h/entrelesbranches

Good morning @Chaletselb0. What a stunning home you have. I want to rent it after seeing it! Just a couple of suggestions.
1. Highlight the outdoor features a little more. The photos of the lake and view are average. Your property is gorgeous. LIghten up the lake photos and focus as well on the view photos.
2. Take photos of you hot tub when it's open and bubbling. Mention that as a big point in the description.
3. Take photos of the dishes, cookware and any tools/utensils in the kitchen so guests can know how "fully stocked' it is.
4. Describe the two fire sources. Is one electric (inside) and is the outside gas? Those with small kids might want to know that ahead of time. WIll wood be required? Do you supply the propane? That kind of thing
5. If I missed it, mention that those with disabilities will not be able to use a Wheelchair to enter or navigate the upstairs of the home. All of our rooms are upstairs and that has been a concern of guests.
6. Is there wildlife around? Accentuate that but also a subtle/soft warning that there may be interactions, if that is the case.
What an amazing cabin. Thank you for sharing!!
Buongiorno @Chaletselb0 ,
first of all congratulations on the wonderful chalet!
a few small suggestions:
a) the cover photo seems a bit dark to me, I would put a lighter one of the inside as the cover photo
b) I saw that you have a hot tub only because I know how they are made when they are closed, I would definitely add some photos of the hot tub open and in operation
c) I would add captions to the photos
d) I would add a plan of the house so that it is easier to understand how it is laid out
e) I would put a photo of you in your account instead of the drawing so as to create more trust with the guests
I hope I have been helpful, good luck!

Thanks for the comments !
A. Yes, I did a little touch up of the cover photo. We’ll make a new one with the Autumn color also.
B. Great, we’ll do so.
C. What do you suggest including on the captions ?
D. Good idea. We have a plan of the construction. I’ll see if that could do. We are just finishing our website and we have a virtual visit on it.
E. We have a corporate account and our personnal account as co-host. Hope this is enough.
Thanks !
It’s just an amazing property, it looks stunning and the listing is great, congrats
For me thats ok.
tks
Claude
Your place is beautiful. Your descriptions and detailed pics are superb. My only suggestion is to add comments to each of the pics. Otherwise, congrats and best wishes.
Thanks I’ll add more details on the pictures.
Your home is very beautiful. The only thing I would suggest is that whenever you can, you hire a photographer, stage and fully capture the stunning beauty of your place. I can only imagine the photos don’t do justice to your amazing space.
p.s. I’m also guilty of not doing the same 🙃
Yes, it’s on the list, but not on the top unfortunately :). We want to do drone and also lifestyle photo.
Thank you so much @Dale1007 @Dana-And-John0 @Claude1548 @Daniel12751 for chiming in to support @Chaletselb0 !
I am tagging @Chaletselb0 , so that the author can notice your wonderful comments 😍
@Chaletselb0 Looks like a great place! congrats on your first summer of renting!
I would show a bit more of things in operation, like turning on the hot tub or the billiards in use.
I think great quality photos are important and also showing how the space could be used.
Thanks. Yes, that’s on the list.

Thanks for the feedback @Crystal665 !
1. I did a little touch up on the front page photo. We’ll do more in the coming weeks.
2. I’ll do that also. It’S a good idea to give a better view of the amenities.
3. Same. Really good idea. We often get question about what is included.
4. We mention it in one of the email sent a couple of days before the rental but we will make it more explicit in our description.
5. We did fill the disability portion of the AirBnB description. Hope this is enough.
6. Good, I’ll make sure to mention the wildlife.
Thanks again for the comments !
Hi @Chaletselb0 , @Crystal665 has shared very interesting pointers 🎉 Are you thinking of highlighting the outdoor features a little more or update a few photos as Crystal suggested?
We look forward to hear how you're progressing with the ideas from other Hosts 🌻
